I use Capstar tablets on my cats and dogs. They work very quickly but unfortunatly only last about 24 hours. That makes them expensive if used often. I just wish I knew for sure how they affect my pets health down the road.

I have used Capstar for a month and a half now and noticed that the fleas came back after 2 weeks. I live in Florida and the flea issues down here are fierce. My cat needed a pill a day for 3 days and the fleas returned after a couple of weeks. Still hoping that there is something that can take care of the fleas with one dosage and my cat can be flea free.

Capstar works wonders! If you have an infestation, this will get rid of it, pronto. I would recommend using Program as a longer lasting flea control.

I used it on both my cat and dog and in an hour a saw that they no longer scratched themselves. The next few days they started to scratch again and they do have a few fleas. I must say, it did kill several, but I guess I need to put them on a preventive pill so that the eggs die as well.
