Hahaha That crash was funny. I’m lucky that hasn’y happened yet. I have one Husky and we only go about once a week.
Sorry to be so late posting a response, we have 4 siberians now and they keep us very busy!
It looks like concrete but it isn’t. It is a packed dirt trail along the New River in VIrginia. I think they used a finely crushed rock, which is why it looks like concrete -we have booties for concrete but rarely run more than a mile or two on a concrete path.
I’m sorry but I did have a giggle… Only because stuff like that happens to me at least every 2 runs. Or well it used too when I used to bikejor. Now I use my dryland rig. Nice video. Epic crash.
I like how you muted voices. Were you screaming “STOOOOOOOPPPPP BAD DOGS!! NO!!” At the top of your lungs?! Or did you not have time to scream? lol
That is every mushers worst nightmare when dryland running. I would never run my dogs on concrete. That’s pretty gutsy! We always use dirt trails for that exact reason. And also because concrete rips their paw pads up so badly.
Well, except our newest video, that is only because it is one dog, and a puppy at that.
Have a great weekend.
Very nice wipe out. Atleast no one got hurt…much.
FYI: this is Fries, VA part of the New River Trail.
That ending is so funny! I’m sorry you got banged up but the bruises will fade. I’m glad the squirrel escaped, unlike the many hapless butterflies Mukki has eaten.
