has some less than socially acceptable backyard habits. We bought this to keep his nose above ground level as he grazes thru the backyard.
It is well constructed and will do well with a pet who is post-op or has a biting problem. However, for our purposes, we should have bought the XL because the product does not extend beyond his snout as we had hoped. Therefore, his can still use his innate ground sensing radar to continue to ………………..
Good product but consider the problem you are trying to solve and maybe purchase a larger size.

My dog has to wear an e-collar almost all the time for medical reasons. I appreciate the padding around the neck and outer edge as this is more comfortable for him and me. He does love to bump the back of my legs trying to get me out of his way. The collar is well made also.

Sturdy, light, does the trick. My dog could do without the loud ‘SNAP!’ when the poppers are being closed but, he’s afraid of a lot.

This is a great product!! It really is nice, with cushioning on the neck and outer ring, which is important if your dog is very active with other dogs. Wears well, very sturdy. Very secure, strong fasteners. Great to guide a blind dog. I have tried several brands, but this one is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, AND SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHERS–GREAT FEATURES AND PRICE IS QUITE REASONABLE!!!!Kong X-Large E-Collar (16.63” x .25” x 30.13” (X-Large) – Dogs neck sizes: 14”-21”)
