My daughter was 4 when she got this. It is a great book to help her learn more about horses, terminology, etc. Great pictures! It was very inspiring to her!

My Daughter has a Sever Reading Handicap and only Reads on a Second Grade level. She is in Third Grade. Will be starting 4th in the fall. The book came fast and it was a great read. She had an easy time being able to read it. All the great facts were also a great help. She already had some knowledge of horses because they are her favorite subject. This book was even more informative and on the right reading level, so it was easy for her to read on her own.

Thank you very much for having the reviews and descriptions that helped us make our choice.

My niece loves it. She is learning how to ride and loves anything with horses.

This book will enliven the dreams of any pony mad child. It is an action packed and easy to follow. It takes the child from first steps through to jumping in one clean swoop. The photographs are clear and beautifully presented and the ponies are immaculate. It helped my child understand the fundamental stages of riding for her lessons

This book is great for younger riders. It doesn’t overwhelm the child with too much information. The illustrations are great. Real photographs of kids and horses not hand drawn pictures.
