GDB Training escalators platforms and subways May 2009

Guide Dogs for the Blind trains in real-life situations such as escalators, stairs and subway platforms. Note how Instructor Ben Cawley gives the dog a cue to turn left, on to the subway tracks, but the dog disobeys. This technique is called "intelligent disobedience." The dog will refuse a request if doing so would put the team in danger. These dogs save people's lives every day!

This is great work that you are doing. And the dog seems to really be enjoying herself!
