Changing water once a week is important

koggi242 November 1, 2009 at 8:28 pm

25% a month, christ! I do 30% a week.

the fish in my tank are supposed to be alive? good one

GEOPAIH1234 November 8, 2009 at 6:13 pm

I do mine every 8 weeks, check it out if you think fish can’t live :P

The most important thing when maintaining an aquarium is having a cycled tank, proper PH and proper water temperature.

BigFatCheese100 November 12, 2009 at 6:21 am

This guy is dumb. Change 25% of the water once a month??????? The more water changes the better. Also the more water changes, the faster lots of types of fish will grow.;

ericschuh November 15, 2009 at 3:33 pm

If you did a monthly water change on a tank that small almost half the water would be evaporated. This guys retarted. You should do 30-50% water changes weekly for a fish to live. No fish can live by doing monthly water changes.

Water quality isn’t the only cause of fish death. I think he should point out those other causes.

the fish in my tank are supposed to be alive? lol

monthly water changes are detrimental to fish health, if you ever need to do a water change, then your tank isn’t being “maintained properly”.

green algae will grow in a tank with metal halides, that are only on for 6 hours. their is no general rule of thumb with algae. it has to do with light wave lengths, and color.

i wanna know how you and the rest of you “experts” at expert village, “keep fish alive”.

silenthillmaster755 November 26, 2009 at 12:01 am
