Acurel F did nothing for my cloudy water except make it more cloudy.

That’s because the tank is too small for that fish, that’s why the water is cloudy. The good bacteria is having trouble keeping up with the waste being produced. Solution add in a second filter and do a water change, or stick the fish into a larger tank with the proper amount of filtration.
