pittbuls arent stupid animals try to do it better
go buy the book
there are no stupid dogs… just stupid owners
wow that was amazing my pitt is too stupid to do anything
this guy is great just these videos helped me train my beagle
well the thing is how to teach her the first time… Do I have to hold her or wut else??
and also for how long do I need to train her every day?? She’s doberman
AH I SEE duh (me so dumb) my rottie will wait for ever outside and lissen well but my lab is older at 5years now and i cant get her to stay she stays until i turn my back to walk away then she follows me. wow i feel dumb.
wow, great points to regard that could not seem important but in deed could make big differences. I was doing wrong with the stay command by not releasing my Puppy when i leave the house, cus I used it ecxactly as Eric mentioned in this vid, then she was getting the idea that she could release whenever she wanted. Now Im working on it and “Bomba” is showing good improvements.
Thank you Eric.
how i teach the differences???
great ideas i have a little elkhound puppy and she knows lots of tricks but sometimes she just completely ignores me how to I get her to pay attention?
thanks for vids
hahaha how awesome
well my dog was the same but if you just put him back into the same spot and say stay and wait a short time and then break and just gradually increase the time you might have to keep returning him to the same spot it took me a while but i got there in the end. once i told him to stay and then went out and when i came back 2 hours later he was still there i felt so bad :S whoops but at least he knew lol
Im in the same boat as you. I tell him to stay, walk back a lil bit to make sure he stays, then he’ll ignore me and walk away. So i guess my question too is, how i get him to actually stay and listen to me until i tell him to break or whatever?
How can you make the dog stay when he doesn’t want to? In the example, the dog clearly knows the command, but mine is a little less open to the whole not-going-crazy thing. Should I say “no” every time he moves? Or just start really short before he loses his attention?
That’s cool and all but this dog clearly already knows the stay command. This doesn’t help as much when you have a dog that has no idea what he’s doing and is reluctant to stay.
come to the philippines and have a canine school…
thanks for this video… i learn alot….
chihuahua pinscher*
My dog is a Chuwawa. Pincher. I have it a hard time to do this. Does it depend on the weather because its really hot outside
Great video.I really liked that you say to use what word you choose. My 1st jack was easy to train my second not so much. One issue I had is the obedience school insiting I use words they chose vs what I use for my eldest.
When he was a spaz I would call him crazy dog.Luckily the school never heard my release command its go crazy lol.
